We are thrilled to announce that our second full scale production will be 9 to 5: the Musical!
Based on the film of the same name, this uplifting show features music and lyrics by country icon and star of the original movie, Dolly Parton. The score includes hits such as “9 to 5” and ”Backwards Barbie”, as well as original songs written specifically for the show.
Set in the late 70s, 9 to 5 tells the story of three office workers – Judy, Violet, and Doralee – all of whom feel victimised by their “sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical” boss, Mr Hart – and how they learn to “Shine Like The Sun”.
We will be performing 19th-21st February at JCS Auditorium Theatre, Tormead School, Cranley Road, Guildford, Surrey GU1 2JD
Evening shows: Thursday, Friday and Saturday 7.30pm (Doors open 7.15pm)
Saturday Matinee – Alternate cast. 2.30pm show (Doors open 2.15pm)
