Meadowlark team

Myles D'Angelo (He/Him)

“I have been singing and performing all my life, and I am really excited to help start Meadowlark to continue that for myself as well as give others the opportunity to perform in, create, and watch musical theatre.”

Myles has most recently performed in amateur productions of West Side Story, Spring Awakening, and Carrie, as well as taking part in the Musical Theatre GSA Experience in 2017. He also played the Jester in Fleet pantomime with Starburst Theatre Company.

Cerys Jones (she/Her)

“I adore musical theatre and have been performing from a young age, so I am thrilled to be involved in Meadowlark, where I will be responsible for all things marketing and social media.”

Cerys has directed and choreographed various musical theatre numbers during her time on committee for the University of Surrey’s Musical Theatre Society, where she had the role of Press and Publicity Officer. She also performed in the society's productions of Spring Awakening (U/S Ilse), and Grease, and then was Assistant Director for their production of Carrie. She has a Grade 5 in Piano and Singing.

Izzy Jones (she/her)

"I am super excited to be helping to run Meadowlark alongside my job as a vet. I will be involved in some vocal teaching, choreographing and health and safety. I am also responsible for accessibility for our members, so please contact me with any queries!"

Izzy has a variety of performing experience, the most recent of which was Sandy in Grease, as well as numerous showcases for the University of Surrey Musical Theatre Society.

She has a number of creative credits including musical direction, arrangement, choreography and costume design. She has also been on the University of Surrey Musical Theatre Society committee for two years, as Musical Consultant and then Treasurer.

Izzy has achieved Grade 8 distinctions in Piano, Classical Singing, and Musical Theatre.

Calley Lewis-Meredith (she/Her)

“I am so excited to be a part of Meadowlark and be able to offer performance opportunities to those who are equally as passionate as us about Musical Theatre. I will be the Musical Director at Meadowlark so feel free to ask me anything music related!”Calley is a professional Musical Director, Musician and Instrumental/Vocal Tutor. Calley graduated from Guildford School of Acting with a First Class Honours in their BA Actor-Musician programme. Calley also received the Bice Bellairs Award at her graduation, commending her outstanding work ethic. Calley has achieved her ABRSM Grade 8 Piano, ABRSM Grade 5 Theory, ABRSM Grade 5 Flute and LCM Grade 8 in Musical Theatre Singing. She has also sung alongside professional artists such as ‘The Overtones’ and Britain’s Got Talent winners ‘Collabro’. Calley teaches through Guildford Music School and Merton Music Foundation, and is MD/Singing Teacher for Italia Conti Woking Associates and Phoenix Youth Productions.

Cam Southgate-Ash (He/Him)

“I am delighted to be a part of Meadowlark alongside the PhD I am undertaking at the University of Surrey. I will be the Treasurer for the company, along with teaching vocals and choreographing for a few numbers. Musical theatre has been a big part of my life and I am so glad to be able to continue this outside of university with my friends.”

Cam was on the committee of the University of Surrey’s Musical Theatre Society for 3 years. This included a year as a Musical Consultant, Vice President and President. During these years, Cam gained experience in choreographing and arranging music for a range of musical theatre numbers as well as being Musical Director for multiple showcases. He also performed in the society's productions of Spring Awakening, Grease and Carrie. Cam also obtained his Grade 8 Piano in 2017

Katie Twell (She/Her)

“I can’t wait to start rehearsals here at Meadowlark and meet so many new faces who love Musical Theatre as much as we do!”

Katie has been involved in several musical theatre companies since the age of 14, and most recently has served as President of the University of Surrey’s Musical Theatre Society. Her performing credits include Patty in Grease, a 2 x concert soloist at the Royal Albert Hall, U/S Martha in Spring Awakening, as well as various musical theatre showcases and pantomimes. Combining her passion for dance, Katie has gone on to use this experience to direct and choreograph several numbers in musical theatre showcases, and also served as Choreographer for Carrie the Musical.

Grace Tyrrell (She/Her)

“I am so excited to be a part of Meadowlark and I can’t wait to bring some amazing shows to life with you all. I’ll be in charge of scheduling rehearsals and venue booking, so please feel free to come to me with any questions you have about this.”

During her time at university, Grace performed as ‘Frenchy’ in Grease, and as various roles within the University of Surrey’s Musical Theatre Society showcases (as well as holding the committee positions of Marketing Officer and President). However, she also loves spending time behind-the-scenes and has experience in both stage management and directing. Grace obtained a Grade 8 (Distinction) in Musical Theatre Singing from the London College of Music in 2019.
